Have I done the right thing??

Today I signed up with Weight Watchers online.  I’m a lifetime member of WW but haven’t followed the plan in years.  It’s changed so much I lost my initial 30 lbs. I’ve gained and lost those 30 lbs. several times over and them some. I’ve been experiencing some health issues such as arthritis in my knees and hands as well as some bursitis and tendonitis in my shoulder that’s recently become quite painful. I need to make a change. A positive change because I am so tired of living life the way it is right now. I stay tired most of the time and with a job that’s high on stress while trying to care for my aging father, life isn’t always easy. Did I mention that I spend more time with my father than I do my husband these days?? My husband is in Birmingham, AL and my work and father is in Anniston, AL, a hours drive from each other. I only get to see my husband on weekends and that’s not an easy thing to deal with. Been doing it for 2 years now. Don’t know how much longer I can do it in the state I’m in right now mentally. Maybe if I make some changes physically, I can make some changes emotionally and mentally.  That will take time but I think I’m ready for the changes. I’ve got to be because I can’t do this forever. Is this a cry for help, not really. I just need moral support. I need a better support system or at least an expanded one. I need to change my own personal point of view. I need to like myself better. Think more highly of myself. I’m not doing very good at it right now. If I can begin some how some way to begin from within to have a healthier self image and improve my self worth, life would begin to be better. I’ve got to spend more time with Jesus and understand how much He loves me and I’m worth a whole lot more than I give myself credit for.

Life will get better. It has to. I’ve just got to make those positive changes and I think I made the right step with Weight Watchers.
