Over the weekend I went to see the movie Inception. The film had a lot of interesting twists dealing with theft, the changing of someones memories/thoughts and whatever else via dreams. The movie reminded me of the 1980’s movie “Dreamscape” with some added twists, layers and a great big update for the new millennium. The storyline seemed pretty solid although it was challenging at first for me to pick up on but once the movie got going, I was on board. It was one of those movies you really had to pay attention to or you’d miss something that just might throw you off when following the storyline. For the most part, it was good but I wasn’t so keen with some of the language, especially when they would give God a last name (using it in vain). If you don’t mind sitting in a theater for 2 hours and 22 minutes, it’s worth going to see but I’m not sure children should go that are under the age of 13 or older. Not sure if they could understand the concept of the movie fully. Parents, use your parental wisdom on this one. Ratio: men to women – pretty even. Not many children in attendance. on a scale of 1 to 4 cat paws – I give it 2 paws. Have a great Monday!
