“Legends of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole”

If you want a good animated feature based on a book series, “Legend of the Guardians” is the movie to see.  My husband and I went to see it on opening day and truly enjoyed ourselves. We found it to be an engaging film about good vs. evil and believing in your dreams.  The characters were well defined and the storyline flowed well. I wasn’t sure at first if I’d really like it but as the film progressed, I understood the method to the madness – so to speak.  It’s one of those movies that both adults and children could enjoy. During the 1:30 matinee we attended, there were more adults than children but with school being in session, one can’t expect many children over the age of 6 to be there. I’m not sure that children around the age of 3 would enjoy the film due to the reaction of a small child getting upset during the showing we attended. It just might be a bit much due to the owls going into battle. For the most part, I really enjoyed the film. I give it 5 out of 5 paws.  Next movie to see, “Alpha and Omega 3D.” Hopefully today.  TTFN
