It’s December 2, 2014 – a post Thanksgiving holiday kind of day. In my mind, we’re officially now in the Christmas holiday season. In spite of the fact that a lot of Christmas decorations and such go up as early as July each year, most of it up at running just before Halloween, I’m definitely old school by not working myself up into being in the Christmas Spirit until after Thanksgiving. That’s how we did it when I was growing up and it worked pretty darn good back then so why can’t it work now? Today was weigh in day for me and I was able to loose a pound and a half which makes my loss 14 1/2 lbs total. Yes, weight can come off during the holiday season if we just try. Coming to terms with a weight problem and working on realizing that I will need to eat differently the rest of my life to keep my weight at a manageable number is definitely more of a work in progress than I’m up to dealing with right now but working on it a little here and there might make it easier along the way. I’ve got several more pounds to loose so, I’ve got some time to work on it – at least in my mind at the moment. That does have room for change somewhere.
I’m at place professional where I’m looking at some possible changes somewhere down the line. I don’t like the idea of not having my current business for very much longer but I have thought that I am most likely the transitionary owner to put things in order after my predecessor made a complete mess of what was a pretty awesome radio station. I love what I do and I firmly believe that I’m here for a reason. I hope and pray that it’s not a short term thing. I’d like to see things last longer but that just might not happen.
Life goes on and changes happen, some good and others not what we had planned.
